How to Print the Band Manager Documentation
Remember, the latest updates can always be found on the Band Manager website.
On my Band Manager CD (which came from the BBL) is a file D:\DOCS\BANDMGR.PDF (D being the CD Drive), you may have to change this depending on your system. To view PDF files, you need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (see link on the bottom of this page).
These notes apply to PCs running Microsoft Windows. There are other files in the \DOCS\ directory. Each begins with BANDMGR, then .WP, .WPD, and .DOC. The BANDMGR.DOC can be opened with Microsoft Word. I'm not sure what .WP and .WPD are but they are probably written in Word Perfect. Try double clicking on each of these files until one of the files "opens" on your system. If the a file does not open then program that will "open" that file is not on your system. (Windows automatically know which application to use based on the each file's extension). Windows will display a box titled "Open With" asking you which program to use to open the file. Just click the cancel button.
If the file does open in a word processing application so that you can read it then you should be able to print it.
If none of these works use the BANDMGR.PDF file. BANDMGR.PDF is an Adobe Acrobat file. When you double click on the file it will probably open in a program called the Adobe Acrobat reader. If the reader is not on your system then Windows will display a box titled "Open With" asking you which program to use to open the file. Just click the cancel button. The program to 'work' with PDF files is also on the Band Manager CD in the \DOCS\ directory. Double click on AR40ENG.EXE to install Version 4 of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Then you can open the BANDMGR.PDF file print it with the reader.
